Job description
We are working closely with a local authority in Swindon to hire a care assistant. The successful candidate will be working in a residential care home managed by the local authority.

Ideally you will be someone who has the following:
- At least 6 months care experience
- Has a care certificate or NVQL3
- Has an enhanced DBS and is registered with update service
- Availiable to start work immediately
- Has right to work in UK and proof towards it
- Has all mandatory trainings upto date or willing to complete them
- Can provide at least 5 years of work reference
- A willingness to work flexibly across daytime and evenings
- A working knowledge and understanding of equipment and adaptations and how this is applied to service delivery and national standards for adults.
- A working knowledge and understanding of the principles of co-production, working in person-centred ways, how to develop resilience and improve wellbeing
- A working knowledge of information technology, processing skills including the use of e-mail.
- Ability to accurately interpret customer and client needs, appropriate elements event information.
- Ability to adapt information according to the needs of the recipient
Trainings:
- First Aid
- Food & Hygiene
- GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
