Support worker - Contracted hours - Days and Night shifts available £10.50 per hour
Clockwise Healthcare are an experienced and successful agency. We are scheduling interviews for new staff members to join our caring, fun, and happy staff team.
You will be supporting a service user in an Independent supported living environment that has been newly refurbished. Technology has been set up around the home to reduce paperwork, which will enable you to engage in meaningful activities.
Within this role, you will be responsible for promoting independence, helping to update the service users support plan to improve the quality of the support users life, supporting the service user to access facilities within the community and assisting with his personal development. Due to the service users behavioural needs it’s important to be able to follow his Positive Behaviour Support Plan.

Duties include:
- Helping to maintain support plans to massively improve the quality of people’s lives.
- Supporting the service user with 2-1 support, to meet his needs.
- Teaching the service user new skills to help him become more independent. Supporting him to attend college placements.
- Helping the service user keep in touch with everyone that is important to him, including families and friends.
- Supporting the service user to live independently in his own home. This will include supporting with cooking, household jobs.
We are also looking for Night Staff
It is preferred that you have worked with Positive Behaviour Support.
The service user:
- Is an energetic young man that likes to spend time outdoors and in the community.
- Likes making simple food such as sandwiches, crumpets, scrambled egg in the microwave.
- The Service user also loves cars and things to do with driving / vehicles – e.g. the Highway Code.
- The Service user likes technology, repetitive cartoons, Lego, freehand drawing, playing with dough
- The Service user has ASD, ADHD, Learning Disability, Social and Communication Disorder and Complex Social and Language Disorder. He can become anxious with change.

Salary: £10.25-£18.00 per hour
