Hours: 8 hours (day shift)

Annual Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 a year

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment agency and currently looking to recruit a number of Card Personalisation Production Operative for our client based in Yate, BS37. They’re leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic cards and wholesaler of card systems, lanyards, and ID accessories. The role of the Production Operator is to contribute to the smooth running of the Production Department. Cooperating with the Production Manager and working as part of a team you will receive schedules and carry out production activity to meet deadlines agreed. You will take part in a proactive program of machine maintenance in accordance with current company requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

· In-house production and operation of production machinery, including personalisation equipment, foil printing, slot punching, thermal printing, bottling packaging requirements where appropriate, always working to agreed schedules

· Setting up of production machinery with correct job profile under guidance from the Production Manager

· Work to pre-determined quality standards at all times in adherence to production procedures

· Record production activity on company systems in place, in accordance with current policy

· Adherence to company procedures, accreditations and standards in all areas, including quality control, security, auditing and processing

· Assist colleagues within the Production Department and the Warehouse & Dispatch Department as necessary

· Perform preventative maintenance as and when instructed too, record activity on maintenance logs, reporting any issues found immediately to Production Management

· Support machine engineers on preventative / call out visits ensuring the machine is operational as much as possible

· Maximise efficiencies of production equipment by working smart, proactively working on increasing efficiencies and ensuring the department is working at its maximum capacity at all times
