Carbon and Sustainability Data Analyst

Sustainable forestry investment and natural capital opportunities, including woodland creation for carbon, has generated heightened levels of demand across Tilhill’s client base for acquisition and consultancy services for land and forests. With this, we are looking for a professional to join our Environment and Sustainability Team.
Some responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Environment & Sustainability Manager with sustainability data capture and reporting.
- Gathering and validating carbon and sustainability data for internal and external reporting.
- Developing systems for data collection.
- Liaising with business units to support them providing accurate, verifiable data.
- Collating data and providing reports to support the Safety & Assurance team with internal reporting requirements.
- Gathering and validating carbon data across Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
- Completing internal quality audits to ensure accurate data capture.
- Collating project-based data for quarterly reports to clients via their online portals, as required.
About You:
With strong relationship management skills, you’re able to build and maintain exceptional rapport with Tilhill clients. In addition to this, we’re ideally looking for:
- Producing graphs and data reports for a variety of audiences.
- Extensive use of the software systems including Power BI and supporting development of software to improve data capture.
- Extensive use of MS Teams and working effectively with virtually with staff across the UK.
- Happy to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately ensuring attention to detail.
- Analytical mind-set.
- Happy to work independently.
- A focus on solutions not problems.
