Job description

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to car owners and ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. The worker is responsible for performing various tasks such as washing, scrubbing, and drying vehicles, cleaning the interior of the car, and polishing the exterior of the car. The worker must also maintain the cleanliness of the car wash area and equipment, as well as maintain inventory of supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the appropriate car wash package

• Prepare and operate car wash equipment including paying attention to the type and make of the vehicle

• Apply cleaning solutions to the vehicle's exterior and scrub thoroughly to remove dirt and grime

• Clean wheels and tires, and dry off the vehicle with a chamois or microfiber cloth

• Vacuum and clean the interior of the car including wiping down the dashboard, windows, and door panels

• Assist customers with the purchase of additional services such as detailing or waxing

• Maintain and repair car wash equipment and report any issues to management

• Ensure that the car wash area and equipment are clean and well-maintained

• Keep inventory of car wash supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered

• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local and state regulations

Requirements:

• Physically active and motivated

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor

• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Demands:

• The worker must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor, including bending, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

• They must also be able to work in hot or cold weather conditions and be comfortable working outdoors.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £8.49-£10.42 per hour
