GBA Transport Ltd has permanent opportunities for suitably qualified & experienced Car Transporter Drivers based at various location including South East, South West, Midlands & the North.
£1000 Joining Bonus
For a limited time period only, from 05/06/23, any newly recruited fully experienced Transporter Driver will at this time also be eligible for a one-off Joining Bonus of £1,000 (subject to eligibility and in-line with policy terms). Payable at the end of month following successful completion of probationary period
The Ideal candidate will have experience driving and operating ROLFO/TE+11 equipment (or similar) and be capable of working to a consistently high standard in this quality driven and demanding environment. These positions require up to 4 nights out per week with tax free night out allowance. We offer competitive pay, overtime, vehicle handling payments and company bonus scheme & full uniform.
This is an opportunity to join a growing business distributing new cars and commercial vehicles to dealer outlets and distribution centre's on behalf of various vehicle manufacturers.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· The role involves both local and national deliveries, working with a range of vehicle products including prestige brands.
· You must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including loading and unloading of vehicles, working at height and in all weathers.
· Overnight stays in the cab will be required at times
· Health & Safety awareness
·To be aware of the Company’s responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety and its accreditation to ISO 9001:2008
· Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to all environmental issues and aspects within the ISO14001:2004. These requirements may not only be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business

Person Specification:
Essential Requirements
Educational Attainment
Good standard of Education
Knowledge Required
Possession a current C + E/ HGV 1 licence and hold a valid driver CPC card.
2 years experience driving and operating car transporters within the UK.
Digital tachograph operation.
Experience Required
Experience as a Car Transporter Driver is essential and you must hold the relevant licence and required experience.
Skills and Aptitudes Required
Be capable of working to a high standard within a quality driven environment
Possess sound attention to detail
Excellent Customer Service
Desirable Requirements:
Experience Required
Experience of using Hand Held Terminals or similar electronic work-planning devices would be is desirable
