Job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Perform necessary repairs and replacements of parts, components, or systems as needed
- Weld and perform auto body repairs as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to automotive repair work
- Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
