Your role

Do you have a track record in covering alternative asset managers? Are you a target driven individual? Do you know how to come up with innovative solutions for clients?

We're looking for a Capital Consulting Salesperson to:

  • be a key contributor and driver of value in one of the top Business Consulting teams globally
  • drive the growth of new hedge fund relationships by pitching our Business Consulting capabilities and sourcing leads through their own network
  • compile and produce value-add content based on industry hot topics and trends. Present findings to senior management at key hedge fund clients
  • advise new launch and existing hedge fund clients on all aspects of their business evolution
  • have a specific focus on Legal & Compliance content and an ability to cover a broad range of topics that can impact hedge funds and management companies in this regard
  • provide content and colour around topics such as fund & management company formation & structuring; fund terms; regulatory requirements for asset management businesses; changes in the global regulatory agenda
  • review and provide feedback on fund documentation such as DDQs, PPMs, Marketing Materials, valuation Policies, Newsletters
  • counsel clients on the selection of key service providers
  • assist in planning and moderating regular peer to peer and digital roundtable events, based on different industry hot topics

Your team

You’ll be working with the Capital Consulting Team and the Financing Team in London. The Capital Consulting team interacts and speaks with Hedge Funds and Hedge Fund service providers on a daily basis. The team works with new and existing hedge funds to provide business consulting and hedge fund industry intelligence.

Your expertise

  • a minimum of 5 - 15 years as a top performer within the alternative investment industry
  • knowledge / experience of hedge funds and the business/operational workings within these firms
  • relevant legal or regulatory / compliance experience
  • capable of managing and owning projects autonomously, with limited direction
  • strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, VBA/Python & other data analytics skills is a plus
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable communicating across all levels of the organization internally and externally
  • you are passionate about the client experience
  • you are a motivated, self-starter that wants to compete and win in a hyper-competitive environment and has experience working in a fast-paced setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent)
  • Additional relevant qualification (e.g. legal qualification, MBA) a plus
