Campaign Manager - Financial Services

Overview
We have a role for a Campaign Manager to help drive the marketing strategy, campaign planning and activation for the Financial Services sector. The individual will also collaborate closely with marketing peers across the rest of the priority areas, including capabilities, firm-wide, brand and digital as well as senior business stakeholders and offshore colleagues. Strong stakeholder and team management skills and the ability to lead campaign delivery to impactful outcomes are essential attributes.
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Financial Services
Responsibilities:
- Champion the KPMG brand and purpose across our priority marketing teams and our business to make sure that we stand out from the crowd
- Inspire and manage the agenda for the Financial Services sector team to create an environment to develop and deliver extraordinary work - to ensure we are at the forefront of industry debates and events that matter
- Deliver the marketing strategy across your areas of the Financial Services sector to drive brand awareness and engagement; contribute to every stage of the sale, create opportunities for relationship development and ensure we engage internally with messaging on all our activities
- Be able to demonstrate and measure value creation and ROI [set against agreed objectives and targets] directly contributing to the firm's business growth agenda
- Ensure there is connection and alignment of services and messages and sales opportunities across the Financial Services sector and other priority areas
- Additionally, build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the business development teams across the Financial Services sector
- Deliver a data led approach to champion digital and use of CRM with the marketing team and across the business
- Encourage interaction with other teams across Sales & Marketing to deliver a connected one team culture
- Develop a very close working relationship with Corporate Affairs and Internal Communications
- Line management of an Assistant Manager, which includes performance management and day-to-day oversight and support
- Ensure there is total synchrony with KGS Marketing (KPMG's offshore marketing team) to deliver one integrated Sales & Marketing team
- Project budget responsibility for your areas of the Financial Services team
- Implement best practice in the delivery of cross channel marcomms, proactively innovating across content, creative and media
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Three to five years marketing experience - with the ability to develop strong internal and external networks
- An experienced marketing professional with ideally some sales experience who wants to make a difference
- Experience in the Financial Services sector a plus, but not required
- Brings a strong commercial mindset and has ability to spot the opportunity in the delivery of campaigns and projects
- Delivered high performing end to end brand, lead generation and sales campaigns - from click to client
- Experience working with marketing agencies from briefing in a campaign through to ensuring the best strategy for activation
- Wants to be part of a collaborative, high performing team virtually, across the country and offshore
- Future focused - proactive and always one step ahead of the curve - and the ability to challenge, be challenged on key ideas and concepts, to foresee the potential impact and value creation of marketing activities
- Experience of developing value propositions for services and market defining marketing campaigns and effectively managing associated budgets
- Constantly reviewing better ways of doing things and leveraging tech and digital platforms to deliver high performing campaigns and activities
- Proactive, high-energy person who brings a positive influence on others
- Credible and influential profile to challenge and manage senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical ability to review data, content, market trends, insights
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills - with the ability to flex personal style to engage every audience
- Experience working in a professional services environment would be a distinct advantage
- Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from a diverse set of stakeholders
- Equally has an eye for the fine detail
- Experience managing, negotiating with sophisticated third-party organisations
- Brings a real sense of fun and energy to the role
