The Marketing Team
The Evaluate Marketing team is a rapidly expanding, global team with an exciting strategy to support the long-term goals of the business. We are responsible for the Evaluate marketing strategy, brand, global customer and internal communication, and portfolio marketing. It sits at the heart of the newly formed commercial function which also includes sales enablement, product management and our editorial function. Our dynamic customer-obsessed team works cross-functionally and uses data to make decisions, drive strategy and execute marketing campaigns.
Scope of the Role In this role as Marketing Campaign Manager you will report into the VP, Marketing and will be responsible for the planning and delivering of high-performance marketing campaigns that leverage customer and channel insight. You will create and manage campaigns from start to finish, working with internal and external channel specialists to deliver results and drive a strong return on investment. You will also be responsible for the accurate reporting of marketing KPIs at a channel, campaign, persona and portfolio level.
How You’ll Succeed • Leverage your own and external expertise to provide campaign support across all products and segments, ensuring campaigns are delivered in scope, on time and within budget
- Build campaign landing pages, emails and make simple enhancements to Drupal website content/design/CTAs
- Understand the core components of the marketing campaign process and identify potential risks, failures or improvements
- Drive the adoption of best practices across the different marketing automation platforms, applying relevant new functionality and capabilities to further enhance performance
- Leverage technology to create campaigns in the CRM and marketing automation tools and run performance reports that inform future campaign and initiatives
- Have an in-depth knowledge of our database, segments and personas whilst ensuring our campaigns remain GDPR complaint and adhere to company data management policies
- Have attention to detail ensuring you can efficiently and accurately focus, execute and complete your projects in a fast-paced environment
- Own the quality assurance of the campaign set up across the different marketing automation platforms, ensuring all set up is in alignment with best practices. Introduce best practices and new innovations into our campaign implementation process as the opportunity to do so presents itself
- Identify and manage potential cannibalisation impact, database fatigue and other campaign performance risks. Monitor and maintain marketing database integrity standards
- Effectively communicate status, performance and opportunities for improvement of campaign plans to stakeholders across the marketing team, and to other teams such as client services, sales, sales enablement, finance and product management
- Analyse campaign performance across all channels and platforms and produce detailed insight reports linked to segments, roles, journey stages, campaign types. Use the insight to support proactive decision making across the team that drives continued marketing performance and greater Return on Investment.
- Adopt a best practice approach with regards to campaign implementation, including customer and market segmentation, channel mix and content formats
- Be able to self-manage i.e problem solving, communicating clearly, managing time, self-motivation
- Take initiatives to lead and complete your own projects on timely manner and according to best practice
- Leverage internal and external expertise to adopt a test and learn culture through all campaigns delivered
- Be a trusted, credible resource for internal stakeholders with regards to marketing performance reporting linked to segments, roles, journey stages, campaign types
- Eager to learn new systems and processes which will enable you to be more efficient in your day-to-day tasks.
- Strong understanding and implementation of digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, including email, social, website
- Strong experience with Marketo marketing automation platform
- You can demonstrate your knowledge of handling mid to large marketing campaigns for sophisticated, demanding audiences, and know what good messaging and marketing looks like
- Experience in campaign marketing for B2B subscription-based business models
- Experience in email marketing automation, including designing, testing and executing nurture campaigns, engagement and design best practices preferred, and knowledge of GDPR/privacy compliance.
- Experience in creating, enriching, and maintaining contact databases
- Experience with CRM and sales prospecting tools (e.g. Salesforce, Zoominfo, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshooting complex Marketo issues
- Ability to create and maintain Marketo reports and dashboards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable marketing plans
- You are comfortable taking initiative and actively seek out opportunities to drive our continued success
- Attention to detail and quality with the ability to work well in and across teams
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with the Pharma industry
- Experience and knowledge of Eloqua
- Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Dreamweaver, etc.)
