About the Trust
Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) is a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK. What you’ll be responsible for:
· Book/reschedule/ cancel appointments for patients in line with clinic rules.
· To be responsive to patient preferences regarding the date and time of appointments wherever possible.
· To work to organisational and departmental targets as specified.
· To use a variety of styles to ensure effective telephone/email communication to all patients and to enable the call/email to be dealt with appropriately.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to prioritise
· Customer Service experience
· Computer literacy and keyboard skills
· Previous NHS Experience (Desirable)
· Experience of Access Database/ Excel Spreadsheets (Desirable)
