Summary

As a Remote, Senior Assistant Customer Support (Call Center Rep) - Bilingual at Gainwell, you are responsible for answering a variety of Medicaid-related questions from physicians, hospitals, and other medical providers that participate in Nevada Medicaid. Follow up with supervisor on more complex, non-routine customer inquiries, including provider requests and concerns. Responsible for follow-up and call resolution including callbacks and closing call references. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. Previous medical or medical billing experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Your role in our mission

  • Provide knowledgeable responses to basic provider questions; elevate more complex cases to appropriate staff as needed
  • Put your skills to work to solve provider problems and properly document interaction, and follow up if necessary
  • Adhere to the client’s SLAs and consistently meet production targets
  • Collaborate with team members, management, and other departments to resolve provider inquiries; cross-train new resources in customer service processes
  • Create and manage computer call logs/references.

What we're looking for

  • 2 or more years of customer service experience in any industry
  • Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills to bring inquiries to effective resolution
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on written and oral communication to respond to inquiries professionally
  • Ability to work remotely and independently

The pay range for this position is $29,100 - $41,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
