Job description
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and ingredients
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change
- Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and order in the cafe
- Excellent phone etiquette for taking customer orders over the phone
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service
Note: Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not required.
