CUSTOMER ASSISTANT - SPECIALIST

So, as a Customer Assistant, you will already be a natural when it comes to customer service however, with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.

Working in one of our departments your day will be filled with a variety of interesting tasks, from checking stock and keeping records to looking after health & safety and food hygiene. Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. If they're happy, then we're happy - and that's what Booths is all about. You don't need retail experience to join our family. But you do need to be the kind of warm, friendly, hardworking and innovative person who can shine in front of our customers and fit comfortably into a hard working close team.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Booths family as part of a brand-new Café due to open at our Clitheroe store in September.

Working in our new and exciting Café no day will ever be the same. You will work as part of a team to deliver a memorable experience for our customers. Tasks are varied but include serving food and drink to the table, making the best quality tea and coffee, taking customers’ orders at the till and maintaining our high standards of service.

As a Customer Assistant in our Café, you will be friendly and outgoing and have a passion for great customer service, however, with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customer with our warm northern welcome and creating magical experiences for our customers that makes them want to return soon.

Please Note:

Customer Assistant roles will require a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week.

Advertised rates of pay are applicable to 23 years +

Under 18: £8.47 (probationary rate) - £8.56 (full rate)

18 – 20 years: £8.82 (probationary rate) – £8.90 (full rate)

21 – 22 years: £10.26 (probationary rate) – £10.32 (full rate)
