Job description

Meow is a small business in York. We sell bubble tea, bubble waffle and some savoury snacks (gyoza, bao buns, fries). We're along Goodramgate (opposite Wagamama) and supported with friendly staff.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Taking orders and serving customers.
• Food and drink preparation and cleaning tables
• Replenishing and ordering stock
• Making sure the café is clean and presentable to reach the FSA standards
• Handling cash, balancing till at the end of the day.

Skills required:

• At least a year hospitality and management experience
• Friendly, positive, reliable, energetic individual with exceptional communication skills
• Needs to be organised and works well under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills are very important and also the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Immediate start

Full training will be provided

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: Up to £10.50 per hour
