We are looking to welcome co-workers to join our fantastic Sales team at the IKEA Aberdeen Order & Collection Point (OCP). In the IKEA world, we call this position a Sales Co-worker.

Our OCP, in Wellington Circle, has been designed to offer you the same great range and inspiration, with most products available to order and collect. There is also a small range of products available to take home today. Or if it is more convenient, you can have it all delivered to your door.

Expected Starting Date: July/August 2023

WHAT WE OFFER
  • £10.90 basic hourly rate – Living Wage Foundation Employer

  • We are looking to recruit someone on a part time contract, we will discuss the contract size with you at interview.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers. Shifts are between 9.45am and 6.30pm, looking for someone who can work Midweek & at Weekends.

Sales experience is preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers
  • You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings
  • You are always passionate about the range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
  • You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop
  • You will be on the shopfloor actively selling and planning PAX & BESTA (Bedrooms & Livingrooms) instore & online.
  • You are competent with IT to use planning tools, Microsoft office, using the internet and relevant programmes to support selling to the customer
