Job description
This job role is for a Cafe Assistant, approx 25/30 hours per week and including Saturdays. The role can fit around school runs on Monday to Friday (10am to 3pm) or finish at 4pm if required. Saturdays will be a 10am start, with finish time to be negotiated.
Responsibilities of this position include... working with our friendly team to serve our customers, cash handling, preparing hot drinks, Pot Wash and cleaning, waiting tables and maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace. Some kitchen back-up and prep work will also be required.
We are a small but very busy, independent, family owned Cafe located in the beautiful Mercia Marina, near Willington. We are open between 9am and 4.30pm everyday and your shift patterns will fit within these hours, they can be negotiable to a point to fit your needs and the business needs (Saturdays are required though).
The perfect person for this role would have some experience of working in a Cafe or be Barista trained but, if you are enthusiastic, cheerful and willing to learn then we can provide all the training required.
