Job description
This job role is for a Café Assistant, approx. 25/30 hours per week (Monday to Friday). The role can fit around school runs (10am to 3pm) or finish at 4pm if required. We have two vacancies and ideally, we will fill these with two people but, we are flexible if candidates only require 2/3 days a week.
Responsibilities of this position include... working with our friendly team to serve our customers with Hot and Cold food, cash handling, preparing hot drinks, Pot Wash and cleaning, waiting tables and maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace.
We are a small but, very busy, independent, family owned Café located in the beautiful Mercia Marina, near Willington. We are open between 9am and 4.30pm everyday and your shift patterns will fit within these hours. The perfect person for this role would have some experience of working in a Café or be Barista trained but, if you are enthusiastic, cheerful and willing to learn then we can provide all the training required.
We are currently undergoing a refurbishment plan and are due to re-open late October.
