Job description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and hardworking Cafe assistant to join our team at Ben Nevis Holiday Park - Campbells Cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the cafe runs smoothly, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and assist them with their orders
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
• Ensure that the cafe is clean and tidy at all times
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required
• Stock and replenish inventory, as well as monitor and manage inventory levels
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Help to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a cafe or similar customer service role is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible working is available for the right candidate
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
