Cafe Assistant
Duties:
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their orders
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe area
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
