Cafe Assistant Wednesday to Sunday rostered shifts

Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, Baltic is a major international centre for contemporary art.
We are recruiting friendly and dedicated Cafe Assistants to work within this iconic North East building, who can provide outstanding customer service to join our team at Baltic Kitchen. As a Cafe Assistant, you will have a range of duties from engaging with our customers, delivering a fast and friendly service and preparing high-quality beverages and products.

We are recruiting for the following working patterns:
- 1x Full time team member Wednesday to Sunday 37 hours week
- 1x Part time Wednesday to Sunday 20 hours per week, 5 days per week, 4 hour shifts.
- 2x Part time Saturday and Sunday 8 hours over 2 shifts.
Successful candidates will be required to attend an induction where full training will be provided. Candidates will need to be available to attend the training on the week commencing the 10th of April 2023.

Reports to: Events and Café Executive Manager
Pay: £10.89 per hour
Working hours: Working 8-hour days on a rota basis across our opening days Wednesday – Sunday, 09.45am – 6.15pm, you must be available to work evenings and weekends.
