Position Overview:
Leading the warehouse team in our Burnaby-based distribution centre, you will be responsible for maximizing overall productivity and efficiency for all warehouse operations. You will be organizing your team to handle high volume goods flow by working closely with your supervisors to ensure they are consistently meeting their KPI’s. Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, organizing, and tracking stock. You will maintain accurate inventory records and implement systems to optimize stock levels, ensuring that our products are readily available for order fulfillment.
Order Fulfillment: Working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will coordinate the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. This will involve picking, packing, and shipping products, ensuring that all orders are processed correctly and meet our quality standards.
Warehouse Organization: You will establish and maintain efficient warehouse layout and storage systems, maximizing space utilization and accessibility. You will develop and implement strategies to improve workflow and productivity, minimizing errors and reducing operational costs.
Team Leadership: As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and motivate a small team of casual warehouse associates as required for the busy seasons. You will provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure that all team members are equipped to carry out their responsibilities effectively. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Health and Safety: Safety is a top priority at Briere Production Group. You will enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the warehouse, implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures. You will conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
What you will need:
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong technical understanding of audio, lighting, video for concerts and tours
- Strong IT & computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and scheduling
- Forklift experience
- Class 5 License
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
