Job description
As a CAD Technician working for Spicer Surveys you will be expected to undertake the roles below which is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake further activities not listed to enable your work to be conducted effectively and efficiently. Primarily the work will be office based on AutoCAD however some work may require schemes to be drawn in Sketch up & Vray.
- Assist in the development of schemes and formulating development plans for schools and domestic properties.
- Amending and revising drawings to reflect design changes.
- Issuing drawings to Clients and Contractors.
- Assist in the design of new schemes, be aware of current planning policy and compliance.
- Have a sound knowledge of Building Regulations.
- Measure/ Survey and draw up existing buildings of various construction.
- Preparing and submitting plans and documentation for statutory consent i.e. planning and building regulations.
- Assisting with general administration work such as answering the phone in a professional manner and taking messages, filing, preparing O & M manuals and monitoring and responding to emails.
You will have a sound knowledge of construction methods and processes and have good interpersonal skills. You will be working as part of a team and be required to organise and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines given.

Part-time hours: 20-37 per week
Salary: £22,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
