JOB DETAILS
Working for one of the leading Civil/Construction businesses in their field. The company are expanding their CAD team and have a rare opportunity for a junior level CAD Technician to join the business. You will be working with a friendly team and a very supportive manager who invests time in your development/training.
Once fully trained this position will be working remotely from home.
The responsibilities
- Design appraisals of projects in relation to the design brief in order to obtain all information required to complete the system design processes.
- Produce CAD drawings, calculations and production schedules for projects using the clients dedicated software, spread sheets, defined processes and procedures.
- Ensuring that the technician informs the client of progress on all design work undertaken and immediately report any problems should they arise.
To be a successful Technician in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience in CAD, AutoCAD to 2D AutoCAD
- Industry background Construction, Civil, Concrete preferred but not essential
- Qualification: ONC, HNC, HND, Degree, Bachelors, Masters, City and Guilds, Apprenticeship in Civil/Structural Engineering
