CAD Technician – 1pm FINISH EVERY FRIDAY!
£25,000 - £32,000
We are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician for our client who are a successful engineering company and who were established over 50 years ago. They are currently converting their suite of in house systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central & CRM. As the company is so well-established the environment they offer job security and progression.
The Role:
The CAD Technician will assist with new projects and work on the ongoing development of current products. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with and you will work with other departments and customers. The role is busy and challenging and you will be based in a supportive and friendly team.
Duties of CAD Technician:
· Daily use of PTC CREO 8 3D CAD package to model new parts and modify existing parts
· Creating technical drawings for new and existing parts
· Creation of CA D based technical documentation
· Contributing to design meetings
· Progressing projects for new parts and assemblies from a conceptual design through to production
· Responsibility for the creation of new bills of materials and the manipulation of existing bills
Knowledge and Experience required for the CAD Technician:
· 3D CAD modelling and drawing experience (CREO or SolidWorks preferred)
· 3D Parametric CAD experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Good written English
· Strong IT skills
· Self-motivated and positive
· Strong work ethic
