CAD / OPERATIONS ADMIN London, England
Job description
We are a flight case company based in Rainham, Essex. We build a variety of cases like road trunks, racks, briefcases etc) out of plywood and wood with all sorts of hardware handles, corners, catches etc) that are used in a in many industries such as broadcasting, audio visual, lighting, exhibitions, entertainment, and many others.
This is a multi-rolled position taking on the full process from meeting customers to hands on in the workshop.
The purpose of this role is to assist with the design of products, such as flight cases and speaker cabinets, utilising 2D CAD packages, have knowledge of any CAD package, Solidworks, Autocad, Solidedge. Able to use graphic programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator Knowledge in Microsoft Office Formulas in Excel and Macros are a plus.
You will be expected to be flexible to meet the departments ever changing requirements. In addition you may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training & support will be given.
Candidate must be IT literate with office skills, Excellent communications skills are required.
Full training in office day to day routines, managing emails, phone calls, taking messages etc.. will be given. The candidate must be able to cope under pressure.

Salary: From £25,000.00 per year
