Job description
Our clientis a small but agile Property Specialists, focusing on commercial and domestic conversions or renovations, mainly in and around Bedfordshire with 5 years’ worth of stock in hand already, including a 6 acre site for commercial and residential development, a school and various residential conversion opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce high quality and technically correct working and coordinated drawings, amend and revise drawings, produce plumbing and electrical plans in co-ordination with Architect.
- Use computer aided design technologies to produce and develop sketches, drawings and construction documents.
- Liaise with Management to discuss elements of ongoing jobs, particularly of a design and build.
- Attend project and design team meetings taking an active role in the coordination process.
- Attend site for job pre-start meetings and to markup drawings where required.
- Manage your personal workload as well as assisting other design team members when required.
- Establish a good working relationship with others.
- You will need to be self-motivated, with a proactive attitude to work with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Contribute ideas to the creative process Understand and apply the client's standard.
- Work closely with the owner to develop skill set, recommend on how we can plan better/drive efficiencies next time.
Essential Skills
- Processing of point cloud data
- Assistance with general IT matters and be experienced in Microsoft office in particular excel and have an interest for using Microsoft and other Apps and packages to automate and improve efficiency
- Assistance with surveys on site
- Support with other duties where needed.
- Be flexible both in the office and on surveys.
- General upkeep/maintenance of equipment
Beneficial skills
- 3D-modelling skills – SketchUp and 3D rendering skills – V-Ray
- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign skills
- General understanding of other building services such as air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, controls is preferable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time/part time/ flexible hours. Dependant on experience this role could be remote, office based or hybrid and will depend on your skill set and experience. We are open to discussion on this
Salary: £20,000 - £45,000 pro rata dependent on experience subject to reviews
