We are looking for a hard working and skilled cabinet maker. This position is ideal for an independent worker who is able to follow instructions but can also apply his or her own ideas to projects. The cabinet maker will help assemble cabinets, assist in the construction of doors, and woodworking equipment and be part of a team that generates high quality finished products. We require experienced cabinet makers to join our busy workshop in Abbey Wood.
Responsibilities:
- Use tools and techniques common to woodworking.
- Able to read drawings, work to a very high standard and carry the job through from start to finish including site installation.
- Completing cutting lists from detailed drawings. Cutting and machining own work.
- Fully assemble all items in the workshop.
- Dismantle and mark up ready for finishing (finishing is another department).
- Install own projects with additional help when needed.
- Determine the appropriate amount of material needed for a project.
- Supervise the progress of a project to ensure that it is completed on time and on budget.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Salary: £180.00 per day
