What you need to do the role
You don’t need flying experience to be Cabin Crew and we’ll give you all the training you’ll need to get going. What we look for in our crew is an eagerness to learn along with great people and customers service skills – 3 months previous experience in a customer or people facing role is preferred.
Fluency in written and verbal English is a must (along with native language skills if you’re applying for a base outside of the UK) and you’ll need to have the right to work and live in the UK, a passport, and unrestricted access to travel across the UK, EEA and easyJet Network. You will have no visible tattoos on head, face and neck or any tattoos that are deemed offensive or inappropriate that can’t be covered discreetly. This also includes any piercings that can’t be covered discreetly.
Also, due to the legal and safety requirements of working in an aircraft you’ll be:
- Aged 18 or over * 5’2” (157.5 cm) to 6’3” (190cm) in height without shoes*
- Able to pass an EASA Cabin Crew medical
- Able to swim 25 metres unaided without stopping or touching the bottom or side of the pool, tread water and inflate a life jacket unaided, without stopping or touching the bottom or side of the pool. Additionally, you will need to climb into a survival raft from the water
- Have the continuing ability to fit into an aircraft jump seat harness which measures 106cm across the lap and 157cm from shoulder to waist
Location and hours of work
You’ll need to live within 90 minutes of your base and you’ll be working on a flexible roster, which will consist of a mix of early and late duties, flying duties, standbys and rostered days off. You will normally return to your home base at the end of the day however some bases may have occasional night stops. You will receive more information about this prior to your interview.
