Buying Assistant (Commercial Team)
£23,000 starting salary, 6 weeks annual leave, 15% staff discount and plenty of room for growth!
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30 – 5.30), office-based role in Yardley, Birmingham

Farmfoods, a leading independent retailer in the frozen food sector, is on the hunt for a full-time Buying Assistant to support our dynamic commercial team. Our family business, known for its exceptional quality and unbeatable value, operates 340+ shops across the UK and a central commercial office in Birmingham.
Supporting our commercial team, the role will involve; product range reviews and tracking data • Price comparisons • Developing pricing and promotional plans • Placing orders • Various administration tasks including; setting up new lines, stock transfers & handling incoming calls.
Our ideal candidate can effectively use Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, alongside our in-house software (don't worry, we'll train you!). You'll have solid GCSEs (or equivalent) with at least a B in English and Maths. A degree is a bonus, but not required. Some retail experience is a plus.
