Bliss Distribution is a rapidly expanding company with an outstanding reputation for the speedy distribution of trading card games, tabletop RPGs card protection, anime collectibles, gifts and more! Our company has a fantastic wholesale and distribution operation that covers the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world.
We are looking to expand our buying team with the addition of a Buying Assistant. With expansion into new premises imminent; this is an exciting fast paced role in a rapidly expanding company with genuine progression opportunities.
Job Title:
Buying Assistant
Main Purpose of Job:
To support the Buying department with product set up, chasing and stock levels.
Manage the lifecycle of products, from initial set up, co-ordinating with all departments to ensure booking in of stock in time for despatch to customers in line with release dates.

8.45am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 45min break for lunch.
Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays (rising to 25 days based upon length of service)

Main Tasks of Job:
1. Research and set up new product ranges
2. Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate availability and release dates
3. Be accountable for updating and distributing our ever changing Release Calendar, to ensure all action points are being met by all departments to ensure smooth release
4. Ensure on time and accurate data is supplied and proof checked for new release items
5. Support the buyers and act as the link between the sales department and suppliers with reactive based sales enquiries
6. Support the buying team to help ensure positive relationships are built and maintained with suppliers, ensuring communication is clear, results focused and professional
7. Analyse pricing to ensure we remain competitive in our industry whilst maintaining optimum margin requirements
8. Book in stock deliveriesand liaise with sales team to ensure correct stock allocations
9. Management of supplier back orders
10. Quality and spec checking new products and ensuring information is accurate on both website and sales systems
11. Handling delivery issues and supplier claims from initial reporting to resolution.
12. Other ad hoc admin tasks as and when required

9. Buying experience preferable

Salary: £17,772.14-£22,000.00 per year
