Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Ajax, ON

Job Description:

• Bank Reconciliation

• Cash application

• Monthly Statements to customers

• New account opening in QuickBooks

• Buying group consolidations (United billing headquarters for multiple stores)

• Accounts receivable

• Collections

• Any billing issues that may arise with customers’ accounts

• Key Account Management (Corporate Level accounts)

• Credit Card Processing

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills/qualities:

• Strong QuickBooks skills and demonstrated experience

• Exceptional knowledge of excel and demonstrated experience (Vlookup, Pivot table)

• Customer service skills for resolving any billing or payment issues

• A strong and demonstrated knowledge of accounting

• Bi lingual in French would be an asset, but not a requirement.

• Detail oriented

• Excellent communication skills with customers & fellow employee’s

• Strong Organization skills

• Able to be focused, and work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajax, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Accounts receivable: 2 years (required)
• QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
• Microsoft Excel: 2 years (required)
