Location: Gillingham, Kent
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours per week, (Monday to Friday) Some flexibility required. Alternate weekends may be required.
Salary: £21,000-£23,000 pa, depending on experience, plus commission, OTE £27,500 PA
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding Car Supermarket group going from strength to strength. We are now selling around 3000 cars per month, and due to the recent opening of our Car Supermarkets in London and Peterborough. We are recruiting Buying Assistants to support our vehicle purchasing department based in our newly refurbished offices in Gillingham.
We are looking for people with a customer service or sales background, preferably from within the Automotive industry.

Role and responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from new and existing customers
- Contact hot leads via outbound calls and email
- Obtain accurate information on the vehicle’s condition, history, and ownership
- Update internal CRM systems consistently and accurately
- Liaise with our valuation specialists
- Negotiate, agree and complete vehicle purchases
- Schedule vehicle collections
Person specification
- Good communicative skills (oral and written) able to confidently engage with customers via phone, email etc.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with an emphasis on closing deals
- Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Friendly and enthusiastic team player
- Competitive and target driven
