Hours are Monday – Friday from 9am until 5pm with one Saturday AM in 5 and one day per week 7am until 3pm. Due to the location of the business, it is essential that you have your own transport.
As the Buying Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Buyers and Supply Chain Management team to ensure availability within the depot and retail stores by liaising with all parties regarding stock orders and delivery. You will be assisting the Buyers in daily tasks to ensure accurate landing of products and pricing throughout the supply chain.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Produce and send daily communications to stores
- Build relationships with current and new suppliers
- Work closely with other departments and deal with enquiries ensuring a prompt outcome
- Meeting with key important suppliers
- Place daily orders with suppliers and manage them to point of delivery
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery bookings, stock shortages and any other supply issues
- Manage promotional calendars, agreements and trackers
- Checking new product are set up correctly
- Manage and update planograms
- Manage products and prices using internal stock management system
- Identifying stock holding issues and resolve
- Cook and consume products for sampling

- Ability to efficiently manage and prioritise your own workload
- Be a part of decision making and product selection
- Assist Buyers with product ranges and other tasks
- Review competitor ranges and prices, feeding back findings
- Analyse data and highlighting any potential issues
- Ensure we remain legal as a business
