Buying commercial product assortments that drive customer satisfaction and maximise sales and profit contribution through effective use of trading levers and management of risk.

What will you be doing?
You will use your buying knowledge to plan and buy the best range for customers within your category. Your remit will be to deliver agreed KPIs including; sales, profit, stock, margin and achieving required customer metrics and hit rates.
You will analyse commercial input, market trend data to develop and bring to market own brand and/or branded ranges that optimise opportunities to enable a competitive advantage. You will work alongside all relevant specialist functions to deliver a category assortment with a competitive pricing architecture.
You’ll also be doing the following:
Responsible for all commercial negotiations inclusive of marketing funds (Media Sales team responsible for implementation & briefing (on-site + agencies))
Support the Category Lead in building a product strategy.
Develop and buy market leading own brand and/or branded ranges managing product lifecycle from launch to exit of product ranges.
Collaborate with specialist functions to plan and develop ranges.
Collaborate with specialist functions to develop a sourcing strategy for your product assortment
What you’ll have

The Partnership supports agile and flexible working practices, such as when, where and how we work. We have several different ways to work flexibly, including part-time, flexible or compressed hours, and job sharing. Head office areas also support a blended working approach and in this role you’ll mainly be home based with typically 1 to 2 days per week in the office.
