Support Staff
£21, 575 - £21, 968 per annum (G4)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contracts: 1 x Permanent and 1 x Fixed Term contract until 6th January 2024
Location: Training & Development Academy, Croxteth
Our aim is to be the best Fire and Rescue Service in the UK by having highly skilled and trained employees.
Our Support Staff play a crucial role in the training of our Firefighters and commercial customers by ensuring that classroom and practical training scenarios are set up correctly with all equipment ready to be used. In addition, our Support Staff are responsible for ensuring all equipment used in training are tested and maintained to safe guidance standards.
Successful candidates should have previous experience of general building and premises maintenance. In addition, you will be able to work to deadlines, have a good knowledge of manual handling techniques and are comfortable using a computer.
