What’s the role about?

We have an opportunity for a highly experienced Buyer to join our Fashion Brands team on a permanent contract. You will be responsible for planning and buying the best range for customers within your categories. You will work with the product assortment and end to end customer proposition, ensuring it delivers a highly commercial, customer-focused assortment that delivers agreed KPIs including: sales, profit, stock, and achieving required customer metrics and hit rates.

What will you be doing?

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for buying a product assortment of high strategic importance and complexity: Working at-pace to optimise and capitalise on market trends to create a competitively advantageous product range - to potentialise outcomes for both our customers, and your category.

As a Buyer, you will work with your Merchandiser to analyse commercial input from market data from all channels to develop a category assortment with a competitive pricing, prepare and share a standardised range plan for our Central Operations Team and obtain sign-offs of product ranges - complying with our critical path requirements.

Working collaboratively with a range of specialist functions such as Product Technology and Sourcing, across multi-product areas to develop and plan ranges and sourcing strategies for your product assortment: Delivering margin targets whilst ensuring compliance with our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and other legal requirements.

What you'll have:

  • Experience within Buying; product development, range building and

  • A proven ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships

  • Proven ability to manage complex product assortments

  • A proven commercial acumen
