Job description
We are looking for an experienced butchery manager to take responsibility for a busy butchery department.
44 hours per week over 5 days
Main Duties to include (but not limited to):
Using butchery skills to prepare cuts of meat and display them expertly.
Weigh, Label and price a variety of cuts for customers in an efficient manor
Train and develop junior team members
Receive and accept deliveries of fresh meat including carcass
Use tools required to bone, tie and shape roasts ready for customers to buy and cook
to prepare cuts of meat so they are an oven ready meal solution.
Drive sales through the department using excellent customer service
Ensure the department operates profitably
Drive, maintain and contribute to the on-going development of company HACCP documentation.
