Key responsibilities include:-

• Using your butchery skills to prepare meat to customer requirements - Pork, Beef, Lamb, Poultry
• Ensuring that all meat supplied is of the highest quality and meets customers’ expectations
• Ensuring branch meat displays are of a high standard including layout, fill levels and cleanliness
• Ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislation
• Provide excellent customer service
• Build and develop excellent customer relationships to encourage regular spend

We’re looking for someone with;

• Experience of working in a butchers or butchery department
• Experience in the cutting and preparation of fresh meat
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong colleague and customer relationships
• Good communication and influencing skills
• An understanding of the appropriate legislation - trading standards, health and safety
• Enthusiasm and desire to develop their butchery skill set
