BH Stacey’s is a traditional family run butcher’s looking to recruit a full time staff member. A minimum of 1 year's butchery experience is preferable, with the successful candidate ideally having had previous experience in the industry . The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic and have excellent customer service skills, as we pride ourselves on delivering a first-rate friendly service to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering the highest standard of customer service and ensuring customers are served in a friendly and polite manner
- Food preparation and product knowledge including knowing your cuts, how to butcher using traditional butchery methods, sausage making etc
- Assisting with daily running of the shop including counter displays and stock replenishment
- Cleaning of equipment and general housekeeping
- Complying fully with food hygiene and health and safety requirements
Skills:
- Good customer service skills
- Butchery and knife skills, preferably with a minimum of 1 years experience in the trade
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Hard working, passionate and self-motivated
Working pattern:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
