About the role
As a Business unit lead you will fully support the delivery of current and future strategy and long term objectives through a more consistent approach to administration across the Estate. You will act as a central administration point of contact for operational teams and external contacts.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
To provide administrative support to the Farming Business Unit primarily through the recording, analysis, reporting and monitoring of operational and financial data associated with the various cropping and livestock enterprises on the estate
Manage supplier purchase order
Accurate data management for auditable trail, maintain files
Administration of finances, capture and relay financial information to the finance role to enable timely and accurate generation of the P & L
Assist the department manager in the administration of KPI reporting
Essential skills you will need
Proven experience in a similar role - e.g. office administrator, bookkeeper, finance assistant, farm secretary
Process-driven but keen to understand processes, not just follow them
Numerate, with demonstrable experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets ideally, or MS Excel)
Attention to detail in all aspects of work and a commitment to excellence in all areas.
Self-assured, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.
Progressive mindset, and a collaborative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form.
