Job description
A position has arisen for a Business Travel Consultant within a small busy hotel booking agency based in Ayrshire. As a Business Travel Consultant you will take inbound calls from clients & hotels. You will be responsible for taking hotel enquiries over the phone or via email from clients and implementing into our in-house reservations system, along with taking queries from hotels, still working as part of a team to provide a great customer service.
Responsibilities include:
* Handling inbound calls from clients and hotels
* Booking/Cancelling hotel accommodation as requested
* Offering expertise advice and knowledge about hotels
* Ensure telephone enquiries are dealt with accurately to establish the requirements, in order to deal with the enquiry efficiently
* Working to targets
* Processing Hotel Invoices
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous telephone experience is required but not essential
* Passionate about hotels & travel
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Computer literacy is essential
* Great attention to detail & accuracy
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Strong Team Player
This position is permanent & full time, working the hours of 09.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
