Paydock is seeking a Business Analyst to join our remote global team.

As a valued member of the team, you'll report directly to the Head of Product, and work closely within the Platform team to investigate, define, and design business processes and data models within our payment orchestration platform. You will work closely with the rest of the product team, engineering team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the business requirements.

How you will make an impact:

  • Analysis of platform capabilities against competitor offerings and against both internal and external requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Investigate, define, and design business processes and data models within our payment platform
  • Analysis of existing workflows and domains within the Paydock platform to create a workflow library
  • Assist solution architecture team with developing and maintaining the domain model for Paydock
  • Develop, update and maintain Business Process Models using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
  • Develop, update and maintain API schema specifications in REST/JSON
  • Document and maintain user stories for engineering and architecture to use
  • Create documentation of business processes for different consumers (internal stakeholders, external customers etc) Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design processes and data models to meet those needs.
  • Knowledge of Agile working practices, methodologies and tools

How you will add value:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Payments or related industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with defining API schemas
  • Familiarity with DDD and BPMN, UML or DMN
  • An awareness of industry standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS and PSD2.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business to gather requirements
