Job description
You will work in an agile way to lend your skills to organisational priorities. Your focus will be on supporting our portfolio of projects which will ensure that the Environment Agency attracts, recruits and retains the people, skills, capability and capacity we need to respond to climate and biodiversity emergencies. You'll help us to achieve the ambition in the Environment Agency’s five-year plan, EA2025, and beyond.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the administration of the Environment Agency recruitment system (Oleeo) and undertaking other associated administration tasks.
- Assisting with advert upload and promotion.
- Managing and tracking the onboarding of new starters into the business, liaising closely with recruiting managers.
- Organising new starter inductions and ordering equipment such as IT, or personal protective equipment on behalf of business units.
- Building strong relationships with a community of practitioners and working collaboratively together to share and learn with a view to continuously improving.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
