What you’ll be doing
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Building Management Team at Slough Borough Council, as a Business Support Officer.
In this role you will be required to provide efficient and courteous cross functional support service to internal and external customers in line with agreed standards and performance measures across the Building Management Service.
Your journey with us will begin in the bookings service, where your primary focus will be on maximising revenue from the Council's community halls, meeting rooms, and pitches, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient handling and processing of all enquiries according to our bookings policy. Working in a small team, you'll provide impeccable service from the initial enquiry to raising contracts, ensuring smooth event/meeting execution, and processing payments. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer records and prices are maintained on our bespoke bookings systems and all regular hirers contracts are raised prior to releasing dates to members of public. The right individual must be comfortable with working with numbers as you will be responsible for conducting internal re-charges, reconciling payments, processing deposit refunds and producing key financial reports. You will be responsible for overseeing all bookings tasks are conducted in a timely manor, producing monthly KPI statistics and promoting out assets.
