Location: The Council House
A vacancy has arisen within the Business Support team based at the Council House. This is fast paced environment responsible for providing a wide variety of financial & administrative tasks.
Duties will include using the Council’s financial system to a high standard on a daily basis, processing invoices, dealing and investigating queries. Ensuring invoices are paid within timescales and processing the weekly payment runs on a rota basis. You will also need to communicate with suppliers and customers on occasion to resolve queries.
You must have:
- Good organisational & communication skills
- A positive, problem solving attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be committed to providing excellent customer service
- GCSE Grades A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
Desirable:
- Finance experience
- Experience of using a financial system to input data
We are looking for someone who is a team player, used to managing their own workload and coping with multiple deadlines where priorities can change very quickly.
This post is hybrid working arrangement which includes two days working in the office, every Tuesday and Thursday and three days working from home.
