Please note the salary stated is for a full time role, as this vacancy is a part time position, the salary will be pro rata to reflect this.

We are currently advertising for a part time (21 hours per week) Business Support Assistant L2. The role is responsible for undertaking administrative duties, working in a team under the supervision of the Business Support Manager.

The part time vacancy provides Business Support to Health Services for Children with Disabilities, and is predominantly a reception role based at the Moor Lane Centre in Chessington.

About the role

The role is hybrid, with an expectation that you operate mainly from the office, with the occasional mix of working from home, depending on work requirements. You will be working closely with other Business Support Officers and as part of a team, so it will be important for you to form strong working relationships to ensure that you are able to meet the statutory deadlines of the service.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for phone calls and visitors
  • Managing and responding to requests received in the Business Support inbox.
  • Fielding telephone calls and messages via emails.
  • Booking meeting rooms.

The role will require an individual to have strong admin and digital experience to undertake a range of these functions to ensure that they are providing excellent support to those in the directorate and to our children, young people and their families.

The role is fast paced and you will be required to work with a variety of customers in and outside of Achieving for Children. The ideal candidate would need to have the following attributes.
