Call Assist specialises in providing 24/7 vehicle assistance services, primarily following a breakdown or accident. We reach our customers fast by working with our networks of independent Recovery Operators situated throughout the UK and Europe.
Call Assist works with many companies providing a rescue service on their behalf, either behind their brand or under the Call Assist Rescue brand. To help us to provide the very best service, we are looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our Business Support department.
Role Purpose
The purpose is to provide day to day support to the Business Support Manager and Sales and Marketing department ensuring client brokers are assisted in day to day issues with the Call Assist policy portal, policy submission files are processed in a timely manner and cover validations are performed with scheme providers.
Key Tasks
- Provide support to client brokers concerning polices recorded in the Call Assist policy portal by telephone and email
- Perform cover validations via telephone calls and MS Excel reports with client scheme providers
- Perform policy data submission uploads via Call Assist bespoke software and resolving resulting queries with client data providers and IT as necessary
- Provide ad hoc support to the Sales area in Sales & Marketing as and when required

- Be articulate and able to communicate with confidence and credibility at all levels.

Hours
The working hours of the position are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 from our St Peters Court offices.
Salary
The salary is dependent on age:
- 16 to 20 - £6.83 p/h
- 21 to 22 - £9.18 p/h
- 23+ - £9.50 p/h
