Your role at a glance

This role would suit someone who has excellent excel and powerpoint skills, a confident communicator who enjoys a strategic role with the ability to see the bigger picture.

What you'll be doing

• Business Strategy: Identifying strategic business opportunities globally, coordinating the execution of these opportunities in partnership with business heads, understanding the impact on the LGIM business and monitoring progress
• M&A / Business Development: Supporting inorganic growth initiatives on a proactive and ad-hoc basis
• Market Intelligence: Providing key insights into industry trends and competition, supporting continuous evaluation of strategic aims and informed decision making
• Global Head of Real Assets Business Management: Supporting the Global Head of Real Assets as needed in their role. Preparation of strategic updates to relevant governance forums, e.g. Real Assets Manco/Boards, LGIM ExCo, LGIMH and L&G Group Boards

What we're looking for

• Highly analytical and comfortable with data – able to identify key implications from data in order to drive positive actions for the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high quality outputs within an everchanging landscape
• Comfortable and able to manage multiple stakeholders and differing priorities at once
• Experience in an analyst role requiring financial modelling skills (excel proficient) and use of PowerPoint to produce outputs for management
• Financial Services experience a bonus, particularly in investment management and more specifically private assets
