Nostell is a busy site, welcoming over 240,00 visitors a year and we are looking for two organised and enthusiastic people to support us in ensuring our visitors receive a high-quality service.
We have two roles available for enthusiastic, reliable, and conscientious coordinators, in addition to shared core tasks will have the opportunity to lead in specific areas key to smooth running of the site.
The contract will initially be a fixed term contract starting as soon as available and running through to 28.02.2025. You'll work an average of 20.5 hours a week, this will include some weekends and Bank Holiday working.
The interviews will take place at Nostell on the 5th of April.

What it's like to work here:This 18th century Palladian house is set within 300-acres of parkland. The ambitious team are focused on making Nostell Priory one of Yorkshire’s most high profile visitor attractions and are looking for creative hard-working people who will bring ideas and energy to the property. The property is situated a short distance from bustling Wakefield, meaning the property offers a rare opportunity to work in the country, but live in the city.
Click here for more information about this locationWhat you'll be doing:Based in the lively Operations & Experience Team office you will support the General Manager and property team with diary management and be the on front-line answering diverse phone calls and emails. You can expect these to range from requests to hire the mobility scooter, enquiries regarding events or a lost welly to complaints about a visit.
You will need to quickly gain an understanding of a variety of data recording systems and therefore will need to be confident and ideally have experience using IT resources and programmes, in addition to communicating verbally and virtually.
You will be confident in cash handling as you will be responsible for safe & petty cash management, auditing floats and banking.
In addition to the above you may be required to coordinate a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to monitoring of budgets; recording and management of compliance data bases; facilitating of coach trips, horse riding permits, uniform, and stationary ordering.
